Terms And Conditions

Event Details:
The Connected Pakistan Conference is scheduled to take place from December 27th to 29th, 2024 at the Pakistan-China Friendship Center, Islamabad.

While every effort will be made to conduct the event as scheduled, Connected Pakistan reserves the right to modify the event dates, venue, or any other aspect of the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a change, all registered attendees will be notified through official communication channels, but refunds will not be issued.

1. Registration and Attendance

  • Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full prior to the event.
  • Identification: Participants must provide valid identification CNIC at the event check-in.
  • Presence in Activities: Participants must ensure their presence in all defined activities throughout the event.
  • Payment Confirmation: Confirmation of payment will serve as confirmation of your booking.

2. Code of Conduct

  • Respect and Professionalism: All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally towards other participants, speakers, and event staff.
  • Harassment and Discrimination: Connected Pakistan Conference’24 has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behaviour. Any participant found violating this policy may be removed from the event without a refund.
  • Compliance with Laws: Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the event.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Non-Refundable and Transfers: All payments made for participation in Connected Pakistan Conference 2024 are non-refundable. Tickets purchased are non-transferable to any other individual.
  • Event Rescheduling Policy: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as stormy weather, road closures, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, or any other situation beyond the control of the organizers, the event may be rescheduled. In such cases, the organizers are not liable to refund any fees or compensate for any loss or damage incurred. No refunds will be issued. The organizers will communicate the new event dates to the participants at the earliest convenience.

4. Itinerary and Changes Policy

  • Itinerary: The itinerary and detailed schedule of events for CPC’24 will be provided to participants upon booking confirmation.
  • Changes: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, including but not limited to event timings, activities, and locations, as deemed necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.

5. Weapons Prohibition

  • The possession, carrying, or use of any weapons, including but not limited to firearms, knives, explosives, or any other dangerous objects, is strictly prohibited at CPC’24.
  • Participants may be subject to security screenings, including bag checks and personal searches, to ensure compliance with this policy.
  • Violation of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the event without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

6. Drugs and Alcohol

  • The use, possession, or distribution of any kind of drugs and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited during CPC’24.
  • Violation of this policy may result in immediate expulsion from the event and offenders will be handed over to the local authorities for further action.

7. Safety and Health

  • Health and Safety Protocols: Participants are hereby informed and acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their own safety during CPC’24. While organizers will endeavor to provide a safe environment and adhere to safety protocols, participants must exercise caution and adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the organizers. By participating in the event, participants agree to assume full responsibility for their safety and well-being.
  • Medical Information Disclosure: Participants are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions or allergies to event leaders in advance of CPC’24. It is the responsibility of participants to carry any necessary personal medications and inform event leaders of their medical needs. This information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of ensuring participant safety during the event.
  • ID Requirement and Badge Policy: Participants are mandated to carry their government-issued identification documents at all times throughout the duration of the event. Additionally, participants must prominently display the badges issued by the Connected Pakistan. These measures are essential for security purposes and to facilitate smooth event operations. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in restricted access to event activities.
  • Availability of First Aid Supplies: Basic first aid supplies will be readily available throughout the duration of CPC’24. These supplies are provided to address minor medical emergencies and injuries. Participants are encouraged to promptly notify event staff in the event of any medical concerns or incidents requiring assistance. While organizers will make every effort to ensure the availability of first aid resources, participants are reminded to exercise caution and prioritize their safety at all times.
  • Medical Emergency Protocol: In the event of a medical emergency during CPC’24, participants will be promptly transported to the nearest medical facility for appropriate care. It is important to note that all associated medical expenses incurred as a result of the emergency will be the sole responsibility of the participant. Participants are advised to maintain personal health insurance coverage to mitigate potential financial liabilities arising from medical treatment. Organizers will assist in facilitating emergency medical transportation and support, but ultimate financial responsibility rests with the participant.

8. Liability Disclaimer

The organizers expressly disclaim any liability for loss, damage, injury, or expenses incurred by participants during CPC’24. Participants acknowledge and agree that they participate in the event at their own risk and assume full responsibility for their actions and well-being. By attending the event, participants waive any claims against the organizers for any incidents or accidents that may occur during the course of CPC’24

9. Intellectual Property Policy

  • Content Sharing: Participants are permitted to share content and insights acquired from CPC’24, on the condition that proper credit is given to CPC’24 and the respective speakers. This includes but is not limited to social media posts, articles, or presentations.
  • Permission for Use: Participants hereby grant the organizers permission to utilize any photographs, videos, or recordings captured during CPC’24 for promotional and marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to advertising materials, social media posts, and website content. Participants retain ownership of their individual intellectual property rights, while granting the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the provided materials for promotional activities related to Connected Pakistan Conference’24.

10. Data Protection

  • Personal Data: By registering for the event, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for event-related purposes in accordance with the organizers’ privacy policy.
  • Third-Party Sharing: Personal data will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent, except as required by law.

11. Amendment Policy for Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Amendments to these Terms will be posted on our website, and any changes will become effective immediately upon posting. It is the responsibility of participants to regularly review the Terms and Conditions to stay informed about any updates. Continued participation in Innoventure Club 24 after the posting of amendments constitutes acceptance of the modified Term.
